3x3 Eyes - Kyuusei Koushu is
based on the manga and anime series 3x3 Eyes. It tells the story of a simple
Japanese teenager Yakumo, who lives in Tokyo and tries to study at his high
school and to earn his living by working as a cross-dressing waiter at the same
time.
His father was a famous
explorer and adventurer, but he died after a mysterious accident during one of
his journeys to Tibet. One day, Yakumo meets a girl who calls herself Pai. She
tells him that she belongs to an ancient powerful race of immortals, called the
sanzhiyan, the three-eyed ones.
It appears that Yakumo's
father worked together with Pai, and that Pai's biggest wish is to become a
normal human again. Since then, Yakumo and Pai work together, but they must be
aware of other sanzhiyan - powerful demons with their own evil plans.
The story of the game is
based on the following episode: Yakumo receives a message from his friend, the
Buddhist monk Naparvha, saying that a curse has fallen upon a village in China.
A young girl was killed under mysterious circumstances, and two monks fell
asleep and cannot wake up. Yakumo visits the village and begins the
investigation, aided by Yue Hua, the sister of the dead girl.
Reviews for this game like previous Japanese only releases

the game at a 3/5 or a 3.5/5.
This is
the part of 0 to Z where is visit five online retailers and see what the
availability of the title is, and what price you would be looking at if you
wanted to pick this title up, the sites that I will be using for this are
Amazon.com, eStarland.com, retrogames.co.uk and Gamedude.com I know the
last one is very location specific but from a podcast I listen to and I have heard they have a huge stock of older
games, I will also be including Ebay.com as well
So lets
get down to business. with Gamedude sadly they do not stock the title which is
not a surprise, likewise Retrogames.co.uk eStarland do stock the an imported
copy of the game however this is the Saturn version of the game which will set
you back $10.
On to
Amazon.com who have a decent selection of used copies of the game available in
varying conditions, the lowest you are looking at for a used copy is $7.36,
this comes with free shipping as well which is always a bonus it is also in
very good condition as well.
Most of
the copies on sale do offer free shipping with the exception of a few mostly
the more expensive copies on sale, one has a stupid amount added on for
shipping which more than doubles the price of the game, also the usual highly
overpriced copy is on sale as well this one coming in at $72.
Again
like the previous game I covered 3D Shooting Tsukuru new copies of the game far
outnumber used copies, this game is definitely one for collectors with a
minimum of $50.68 for a new copy of the game that converts to just short of
£39, or in the Euro zone €43, again free shipping coming
in handy.
Prices
for a new copy of the game do become quite steep with a free shipping copy
reaching $78.34 over $80 for the ones that have shipping fees, and again the
obligatory over priced copy on sale at $286.48.
Ebay again
unlike Amazon is light on copies of these Japanese only title with only three
being on the market at the time of writing this, one copy is at $9.26 the
seller states if no case = $5 off) surely if he is selling the game her should
know if there is a case, the next copy again a used copy can be yours for $15
which is €12.73 or £11.52.
