3x3 Eyes: Kyuusei Koushu is an Adventure game adaption of a Japanese Manga titled 3×3 Eyes, pronounced Sazan Eyes, it was developed by Nihon Create and published by Xing Entertainment, it was exclusively released in Japan on the 11th of August 1995 and was released on Windows 95, Playstation 1 and the Sega Saturn

The game is a Japanese style adventure/visual novel the game world is comprised of anime style still shots of locations and characters, with the player interacting with objects and characters by selecting options from a menu such as look, talk, ect, cut scenes in the game are presented as animated sequences.

3x3 Eyes - Kyuusei Koushu is based on the manga and anime series 3x3 Eyes. It tells the story of a simple Japanese teenager Yakumo, who lives in Tokyo and tries to study at his high school and to earn his living by working as a cross-dressing waiter at the same time.

His father was a famous explorer and adventurer, but he died after a mysterious accident during one of his journeys to Tibet. One day, Yakumo meets a girl who calls herself Pai. She tells him that she belongs to an ancient powerful race of immortals, called the sanzhiyan, the three-eyed ones.

It appears that Yakumo's father worked together with Pai, and that Pai's biggest wish is to become a normal human again. Since then, Yakumo and Pai work together, but they must be aware of other sanzhiyan - powerful demons with their own evil plans.

The story of the game is based on the following episode: Yakumo receives a message from his friend, the Buddhist monk Naparvha, saying that a curse has fallen upon a village in China. A young girl was killed under mysterious circumstances, and two monks fell asleep and cannot wake up. Yakumo visits the village and begins the investigation, aided by Yue Hua, the sister of the dead girl.

This is the part of 0 to Z where is visit five online retailers and see what the availability of the title is, and what price you would be looking at if you wanted to pick this title up, the sites that I will be using for this are Amazon.com,  eStarland.com, retrogames.co.uk and Gamedude.com I know the last one is very location specific but from a podcast I listen to and  I have heard they have a huge stock of older games, I will also be including Ebay.com as well

So lets get down to business. with Gamedude sadly they do not stock the title which is not a surprise, likewise Retrogames.co.uk eStarland do stock the an imported copy of the game however this is the Saturn version of the game which will set you back $10.

On to Amazon.com who have a decent selection of used copies of the game available in varying conditions, the lowest you are looking at for a used copy is $7.36, this comes with free shipping as well which is always a bonus it is also in very good condition as well.

Most of the copies on sale do offer free shipping with the exception of a few mostly the more expensive copies on sale, one has a stupid amount added on for shipping which more than doubles the price of the game, also the usual highly overpriced copy is on sale as well this one coming in at $72.

Again like the previous game I covered 3D Shooting Tsukuru new copies of the game far outnumber used copies, this game is definitely one for collectors with a minimum of $50.68 for a new copy of the game that converts to just short of £39, or in the Euro zone 43, again free shipping coming in handy.

Prices for a new copy of the game do become quite steep with a free shipping copy reaching $78.34 over $80 for the ones that have shipping fees, and again the obligatory over priced copy on sale at $286.48.

Ebay again unlike Amazon is light on copies of these Japanese only title with only three being on the market at the time of writing this, one copy is at $9.26 the seller states if no case = $5 off) surely if he is selling the game her should know if there is a case, the next copy again a used copy can be yours for $15 which is 12.73 or £11.52.

The game also comes in a special lot of 22 Japanese titles including the previously covered 3D Shooting Maker as well as Armored Core: Master of Arena, Coolboarders 2: Killing Session, Dezaemon Plus, Dokodemo Issho - Append Disc: Koneko mo Issho, Final Round, Heroine Dream, Hyper Olympics in Atlanta, Mobile Suit Gundan: Ghiren's Ambition and Zeon's Lineage - Kouryaku Shirei Sho, Lightning Legend: Daigo's Great Adventure, Mini Moni: Dice de Pyon, Mobile Suit Gundam, NBA Power Dunkers 2, Music Maker Player 2, RPG Maker 3, RPG Maker 4, Nations at War: Kai (Improved), Simple 1500 Series Vol. 1: The Mahjong, Simple 1500 Series Vol. 12: The Quiz, Tokimeki no Houkago: Ne Quiz Shiyo and Twinbee: Taisen Puzzle Dama all for the cost of $98.92 or £75.83 in the UK and 83.91 in the Euro zone.
