Action Man Destruction X is action/adventure game with driving, racing and vehicular combat elements using the Action Man license, and was developed by British developer Blitz Games and was published by The 3DO Company and Hasbro Interactive the game was released in 2000 on Playstation 1 exclusively in Europe the game also had a PC release in 2001.



The story revolves around master criminal Dr X who is up to his old tricks and is trying to take over the world, he has hatched a plan to steal valuable scientific secrets and it is up to Action Man to seek out the evil Dr X across three different cities and using a variety of vehicles in a combination of race, chase and rescue missions to catch Dr X before he triggers the stolen weapons of mass destruction.






Reviews are hard to come by for European only release so we head to GameFAQs for their user ratings of the game, with a total of 12 user ratings of the game, with an average user rating of 3.25/5 with half of user rating giving the game a 3/5, a couple of users gave the game a 2.5/5 and a 3.5/5 with one user giving the game a 4/5 and a 5/5, and out of a total of four users the average complete time for the game is around the 9 hour mark.

So lets get down to business with Gamedude who unsurprisingly don’t stock this European only release likewise eStarland.com don’t stock the game either so we head over to Retrogames.co.uk who do stock the game which will set you back £5 this is for a used copy in excellent condition the £5 converts to $6.46 in North America, in the Euro zone it will set you back 5.47 and 50.28 Solomon Islands Dollar.

Heading to Amazon.co.uk where a plentiful and cheap supply of used copies are available, with a good quality copy of the disc only will set you back 20p with £2.03 shipping costs, for a complete copy of the game you will be looking at a minimum of around £4 that includes the shipping fee, a very good condition copy of the game can be picked up for £7.65 this comes with free delivery.

A used like new copy of the game is available this also comes with free delivery, this copy has been professionally cleaned according to the seller this will set you back £22.53, a new copy is also on sale for £29.99 + £2.03 for shipping costs.

Ebay.com has fewer copies of the game available compared to Amazon but are generally priced the same with a used complete copy of the game available for $6.48 this copy ships from the UK and comes with free international shipping, a copy of the disc is also available for cheaper with that priced at $1.93 + $2.10 for shipping.
