Zero2Zed Ranking Update March 2018

Welcome to an update check of the Zero2Zed game rankings  top 100, the Zero2zed game rankings currently consists of games released from January 2016 up to March 2018, also included in recent updates are January to April of 2015 as well.

Celeste heads down the rankings after a strong start since releasing, with Breath of the Wild reclaiming top spot.

Heading over to the game ratings we find that Celeste has been knocked off from the top spot in the Zero2Zed rankings, after holding the spot since release a recent drop in review scores has seen the game plummet down to 9^th overall, the game does however retain the top spot for 2018 releases.

This of course means The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild moves back into the top spot that it had previously held since entering the Zero2Zed rankings. The fall of Celeste also sees those ranked 3^rd to 9^th move up are rank, with Undertale moving back into 2^nd place and Shovel Knight Treasure Trove reclaiming its 3^rd place overall.

Monster Hunter World has slowly edged out of the top 10 and now sits in 15th overall

Monster Hunter World has continued to edge down the rankings since entering them back in January, while at one time the game was pushing for a top five position the game now finds itself dropping from 11^th down to 15^th overall. That however may be short lived depending on how God of War does when it releases in April, along with the many more great titles to come this year.

DJMax Respect is the highest rated entry from March of 2018, with the game entering the rankings in 46th place overall

Another game that has seen a significant drop in ranking is Shadow of the Colossus which drops from 19^th place down to 29^th overall. Moving down the rankings we find out first March entry in the rankings in 46^th place with DJMax Respect, with the game earning a Zero2Zed rating of 86.0 overall, this being a new entry it could well move further up the rankings come May’s update.

Owlboy has motored up from 72nd place overall to just outside the top 50 in 56th place, could the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One release push it further up.

Moving away from those that have dropped down the ranking in 56^th place overall we find a game that has motored up the rankings from 72^nd, the game in question is Owlboy, the 2d scrolling fantasy action game was recently ported to the Nintendo Switch, a PS4 and Xbox One release of the game is also scheduled for April of 2018.

Heading down into the 70s now we find Dragon Ball Fighterz which has dropped from 66^th down to its current position of 73^rd. Upon release this game was in the top 10 overall but has slowly slipped down the rankings with an overall rating of 84.7.

That is it for the movers in the top 100, with only one game released in March managing to break into the top 100, the unlucky game that was their place in the top 100 to DJMax Respect is the 2016 released The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD.

Notable mentions lower down the rankings MLB The Show 18 has entered the rankings in 125^th place overall, with the baseball sim beating out fellow new entry Ni no Kuni II Revenant Kingdom, which enters the rankings in 141^st place.

Burnout Paradise Remastered and Pit People both entering the rankings almost next to each other, with Burnout entering in 155^th place, while Pit People are currently ranked 157^th overall. Not far behind these in 171^st and 172^nd we find Outlast Bundle of Terror and the latest Far Cry entry Far Cry 5.

Couch co-op game A Way Out enters the Zero2Zed ranking in 295th place overall, with a rating of 76.8

Couch co-op game A Way Out enters the rankings down in 295^th place overall, with the game currently rating the same as Gravity Rush Remastered, and Call of Duty Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles on a 76.8 rating, with the game only just releasing however this rating is likely to change.

Speaking of another EA published game, and in this case developed by them as well, we have EA Sports UFC 3 which has nosedived down the rankings, with the game now ranked just 356^th after falling from 302^nd in the last update. Going the other way we find Armored Warfare, a free to play game which was ranked down in 861^st place in the last update, this game now shoots up the rankings to 364^th.

Outlast 2 after it's recent Nintendo Switch port has moved up the ranking to 386th from 432nd

Outlast 2 after the games recent Switch port has seen a revival in the games overall ranking, with the game falling as low as 432^nd overall, the game has now steadied the ship and is now ranked 386^th overall. We also saw the sequel to Attack on Titan released in March, with this sequel pretty much rating the game as the first entry in the series.

The crappy open world of Dynasty Warriors 9 or the soulless Metal Gear cash in Metal Gear Survive but which ranks worst. 

For those wondering out of the two abysmal released in Dynasty Warriors 9 and Metal Gear Survive is the worst, it is Dynasty Warriors 9 that narrowly edges out Metal Gear Survive by 0.2, with Dynasty Warriors 9 currently ranked 734^th and Metal Gear Survive ranked 737^th, with both games continuing to plummet down the rankings. The equally underwhelming release Sea of Thieves ranks slightly higher than this pair, with the Rare developed game currently ranked 675^th overall.
